Your recipe poem does give somewhat an emotion. The line 'and allow to explode' really shows that the war had given everyone a negative affect. Also, 'place on a pot halfway filled with hatred' gives emotion towards how the people felt about one another. I really like how you did your stanzas, that helps make the poem more powerful. What I don't get it hoe you can throw a can into a bowl. You should add more powerful, and detailed words. How it should smell, taste, etc. I think your poem is quite plain, it gives you the idea directly, but that can also be good. Overall, you did a great job with your poem
